Submentoplasty Surgery

Cosmetic surgery

What is submentoplasty with liposuction?

Submentoplasty is a procedure that reduces the so-called second chin, accentuates the jawline and improves facial contour. The treatment has a spectacular and immediate effect. A clearly defined jawline and a strong cut-off between the chin and neck are achieved. The face looks more rested and younger.

What is submentoplasty?

Through a small incision in the chin area, a plasticisation of the tissues is carried out, achieving the correct tension in this area for a long-lasting and satisfactory result. The procedure can be complemented with liposuction of the jawline, which is additionally priced during the appointment.

Do scars remain after the treatment?

Small scars are located in the area of the angle of the jaw and the chin. They become virtually invisible within a few months.

Can liposuction alone achieve a second chin reduction?

Only in a small number of people who have excess fatty tissue in this area and no tissue flaccidity. Therefore, in our clinic, patients most often opt for a comprehensive solution such as submentoplasty, often also combined with liposuction.

This procedure is performed in our Clinic by plastic surgeon Dr Kajetan Kociszewski and Dr Paweł Płosaj.

The *price of the procedure may change due to the extent and type of anaesthesia. The final cost of the procedure/operation is determined by the doctor in consultation with the patient.
