Laser Removal of penile papules

Urology

Penile papules occur in approximately 30 per cent of healthy men and are not a disease symptom, but an anatomical variant. They are small growths located on the corona of the glans penis and in the genital groove. They are white or pearly in colour. *They usually appear in the second or third decade of life. They may decrease with age and in some men disappear. They are observed more frequently in uncircumcised men.

The indication for surgery is the patient’s psychological discomfort and the desire to get rid of these lesions for aesthetic reasons.
